The man pioneered a new path for traditional Feng Shui through ornamental creatures
Unexpected turn
After 15 years of diligently practicing traditional feng shui, Mr. Tran Van Long - a son of Hung Yen, suddenly changed his path. The life-changing moment came one afternoon two years ago, when he was consulting on feng shui for a suburban villa.
“When I entered the homeowner's lush green garden, I suddenly realized that: those vibrant green trees are the most powerful feng shui items, not paintings or stone statues placed in the right positions. They have souls, real life energy,” Mr. Long shared.

Abandoning the traditional feng shui path, Mr. Long devoted all his heart to researching the connection between ornamental plants and the energy of living spaces. Three main reasons led him to this new direction:
The dynamism of green plants: Unlike static feng shui items, green plants are living entities, always changing and developing, creating a continuous flow of energy.
The overall effect: A properly designed feng shui garden can harmonize the five elements - Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth - without the need for additional items.
Practical value: Green plants not only help balance feng shui but also improve the living environment, which is good for both physical and mental health.
“3D Feng Shui” – the philosophy of life
After two years of testing and application, Mr. Long has built a system of principles called “3D Feng Shui”: Dynamic, Diverse and Direct. Mr. Long said: “Unlike traditional Feng Shui which only considers the spatial factor, my method combines both time (the growth of plants) and direct interaction between humans and nature."
This method has been applied by Mr. Long to dozens of projects, from villas of thousands of square meters to small green corners in apartments. Each design is personalized according to the destiny and space of each homeowner.

When asked about his career philosophy, Mr. Long did not talk about mystical things, but simply shared: “I want to change the way I think about feng shui. Not mystical things, but the art of living in harmony with nature. Each tree is a living organism, knowing how to interact with the surrounding environment. When you understand and take care of it, you are nurturing and mastering your own living space.”
Not only a professional, Mr. Tran Van Long is contributing to changing the approach to feng shui in modern life: close, practical, and rich in humanity. He wants to gradually reshape the appearance of traditional feng shui, bringing a fresh, scientific perspective while still preserving the quintessence of Eastern classical studies.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of life, Mr. Long is a testament to the journey back to the origin, where people live in harmony with plants, the earth and sky.
