On the morning of April 19, at Van Giang Town, Van Giang District Ornamental Plants Association, Hung Yen Province solemnly held the opening ceremony of the Van Giang District Ornamental Plants Exhibition 2025, with more than 1,000 ornamental plant art works by many garden artists across the country participating. This is a Cultural - Artistic - Economic event of great significance to the ornamental plant-loving community inside and outside the district.

Attending the exhibition, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Ornamental Plants Association, there was Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Van - Chief of the Central Committee Office.
On behalf of the People's Committee of Van Giang district, there was Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chuong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the district, along with representatives of the leaders of the district's departments, and representatives of the leaders of Van Giang Town.
The locality has many favorable conditions for the ornamental plant movement
Van Giang district is a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, a locality with favorable natural conditions, with the highest economic, social and urban development speed in Hung Yen province. Van Giang is also a locality with many favorable conditions for the ornamental plant movement, increasingly attracting a large number of artisans, gardeners, plant lovers... and has become one of the cradles of strong ornamental plant development in Hung Yen province in particular and the Northern Delta region in general.

Up to now, the whole district has over 1,000 hectares specializing in growing flowers and ornamental plants of all kinds, annually supplying the market with more than ten million products of ornamental plants and bonsai of all kinds. According to the assessment of the Flower and Ornamental Plant Development Center of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute, Van Giang is now one of the three largest flower and ornamental plant centers in the country. In particular, Van Giang's flower, bonsai and bonsai products are not only the brand of a key industry of the district but have also become highly symbolic names, affirming the value, tradition of quality, unique features spreading good values...
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thoan - Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee said: "The 2025 Van Giang District Ornamental Plants Exhibition is a place to display and exchange works of art, bonsai, flowers and ornamental rocks... This is an opportunity for artisans and gardeners to enhance understanding, connect, and exchange cultures towards building a united and dynamic ornamental plant community, promoting the development of the ornamental plant economy in a professional, sustainable and environmentally friendly direction".
Each bonsai work is a part of the culture of human behavior towards nature
The 2025 Van Giang District Bonsai Exhibition has gathered more than 1,000 works by many garden artists across the country. This is not only a hobby but also an art form from many previous generations, a traditional cultural practice of the nation, a part of the culture of human behavior towards nature. These bonsai art works have been popularized to many social classes, creating high economic value, this is also an opportunity for cooperation and promotion of the image of garden artists.

Speaking at the Exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chuong - Vice Chairman of Van Giang District People's Committee emphasized: "The 2025 Van Giang District Open Ornamental Plants Exhibition is a major cultural event for those who love ornamental plants, an opportunity for gardeners and artisans inside and outside the district to introduce unique artistic masterpieces - the brainchildren created by talented and skillful hands, crystallized from the quintessence of heaven and earth, lasting over the years of artisans".

n order for the ornamental plant movement in general and the ornamental plants in particular to develop more and more widely, becoming an economic sector, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chuong - Vice Chairman of Van Giang District People's Committee also hopes: "The district ornamental plant association needs to continue to actively coordinate with the district's agencies, departments and branches to perform well a number of tasks: strengthen propaganda work on the role of ornamental plants, ornamental plant clubs, ornamental plant associations in the process of socio-economic development; constantly innovate the content and form of activities so that the ornamental plant club is truly the core of the ornamental plant movement in the locality".
The 2025 Van Giang District Ornamental Plant Exhibition will take place at the headquarters of Van Giang Town People's Committee, Van Giang District until May 2.
