Journey of creation from the heart to the community and corporate mission
Starting from a woman with a spirit of dedication and great ambition, CEO Nguyen Thi Hai Binh is not afraid to embark on a challenging field - high-tech aquaculture and developing green plastic materials. With the mindset of "doing circular economy by all means, not at all costs", she persistently pursues the philosophy of sustainable development, putting human and environmental values first.

Never thinking of stopping, CEO Hai Binh once shared: "When I embarked on this journey, I knew that I would encounter many failures. But when I saw STP Group's products at sea, saw people safe after each storm, people warm and full, the sea becoming clearer and bluer - I was motivated again."
Her perseverance not only brought success to herself but also inspired the younger generation, especially women who are involved in the fields of technology startups, environment and community.
The predecessor of STP Group was Truong Phat Import Export Construction Investment Company Limited, established in 2011. Starting from the field of manufacturing water supply and drainage infrastructure, fire protection and hydropower, this enterprise gradually expanded its factories and branches abroad (Myanmar, Cambodia) and officially launched its first seafood product line in 2018 in Quang Ninh.
The period 2022–2023 marks an important turning point when STP operates two large factories in Thai Binh and Quang Ngai, changing its name to Super Truong Phat Plastic Group Joint Stock Company - STP Group. By 2024, STP Aqua Quang Ninh will be licensed to develop the largest and most modern marine farming model in the North.
After 13 years of development, STP Group's products have been present in all three regions, becoming a prestigious brand in both the construction and aquaculture sectors. The drastic and creative management of General Director Nguyen Thi Hai Binh has elevated STP from a domestic enterprise to a regional corporation.

n the context of climate change and increasing environmental pollution, the circular economic model is no longer an option, but has become an inevitable direction of the future. In Vietnam, STP Group, under the leadership of CEO Nguyen Thi Hai Binh, has pioneered the application of this model in the field of marine aquaculture and the plastics industry, creating a new breakthrough with great potential, not only in terms of economy but also in terms of environment and community. The highlight of the STP Group model is the comprehensive approach, from the production of environmentally friendly HDPE materials to replace traditional marine cages, to the development of a closed ecosystem from technical infrastructure, auxiliary equipment, water supply and drainage technology, wastewater treatment, to consumption and recycling. Each product and each process is designed according to the principle of “nothing goes to waste”, where plastic waste is recycled into artificial coral reefs to restore the ecosystem, seaweed is used as raw material to produce bioplastics, wind and solar energy are exploited to minimize greenhouse gas emissions during operations in farming areas. In addition, STP Group also actively applies advanced water filtration technologies such as RO technology, closed-loop technology in marine farming areas to ensure water quality, minimize pollution and protect the marine ecosystem. These initiatives not only increase production efficiency but also open up opportunities to develop eco-tourism associated with environmental protection education - a multi-value, multi-benefit direction for both businesses and local communities. Notably, technological innovation at STP does not stop at product improvement but also at building demonstration farm models, connecting knowledge and technology transfer to fishermen, training in modern marine farming, creating stable jobs and improving the lives of people in coastal areas. From these responsible steps, STP's model has become a typical circular economy model in the seafood and plastic materials industry in Vietnam.
The smooth combination of green technology, circular thinking and sustainable development not only creates a competitive advantage for STP Group but also spreads a strong message about an economy that respects nature, preserves resources and aims for a sustainable future. This is not an easy journey, but with the courage, aspiration and passion of the leader, STP Group is proving that businesses can absolutely develop strongly while still being in harmony with the environment and the community.
The development focus of STP Group revolves around the circular economic model associated with the sea. This is not only a trend of the times, but also a way for businesses to solve the relationship between development and conservation.
The highlight of STP's model is the use of environmentally friendly HDPE materials in marine farms, recycling plastic waste into artificial coral reefs, and applying seaweed to produce bioplastics. In parallel, there is a green energy system from wind and solar, RO technology to filter seawater, and an international standard water supply and drainage system.
Not only that, STP Group builds a closed value chain from seeds, infrastructure, materials, technology, processing to consumption. This is a solid foundation to ensure productivity, product quality and minimize environmental and climate risks.
In 2024, STP will also implement the Ocean Plastic Waste Reduction Project, build a demonstration model of a marine farm combined with tourism, develop multi-cropping - multi-value and train people in modern marine farming.
What makes STP Group different is putting the community at the center of the development model. STP has been building modern industrial marine farming complexes, supporting people to convert traditional marine farming models to environmentally friendly ones.
Previously, in 2018, STP deployed a seaweed linkage chain in Van Don, helping people have a stable source of income. Super Truong Phat Aquaculture Technology Institute was established to transfer technology, research new varieties and train local human resources.
STP Group is not only a business, but also a companion to thousands of fishermen - people who are vulnerable to natural disasters and climate change. Charity programs, livelihood support, and the construction of facilities for collecting and recycling fishing gear waste are testaments to the development philosophy: humane - sustainable - inclusive.
Future vision: The ocean - a sustainable resource for development
The ocean is not only an endless treasure trove of resources but also a driving force for sustainable development for every country with a sea. In Vietnam, with a coastline of more than 3,000 km and abundant marine resources, the ocean is the "nucleus" of the green economy and the circular economy. Recognizing the importance of the ocean for long-term development, STP Group, under the leadership of CEO Nguyen Thi Hai Binh, has built a vision that goes beyond the limits of a normal enterprise. STP Group is not only a business but also aims to become a bridge between economic development and marine environmental protection, affirming that the ocean is an invaluable resource for sustainable development.

CEO Nguyen Thi Hai Binh and STP Group understand that sustainable development cannot be separated from protecting the natural environment. The ocean, although bringing many economic opportunities, is also facing major challenges such as pollution, ecosystem degradation and climate change. Therefore, the vision that STP Group aims for is to exploit and use marine resources not only for immediate economic benefits but also to create long-term values, preserve and restore the marine environment for future generations.
Through high-tech marine farming projects, building marine farms combined with eco-tourism and environmental protection education, STP Group has brought about positive changes, not only in Vietnam's seas but also spreading widely to international coastal areas. Environmentally friendly marine farming models, using HDPE materials that do not harm the sea, or applying modern water filtration technology to ensure a clean and safe marine farming environment, are proof of a smart and responsible development strategy. Along with that, the use of seaweed as raw material for bioplastic production is one of the creative initiatives to help reduce plastic waste, both bringing economic value and protecting the marine ecosystem.
In the future, STP Group hopes to develop a complete marine economic model, in which every activity is associated with environmental protection and restoration. The Group will continue to research and apply new technologies, develop sustainable marine products, and raise public awareness of the importance of the sea and marine environmental protection activities. By combining economics with environmental protection, STP Group not only brings benefits to businesses but also creates positive values for the community and the environment, turning the ocean into a sustainable resource for long-term development.
This vision not only opens up development opportunities for the seafood industry but also contributes to the transformation of the Vietnamese economy, from an economy developing according to the traditional model to a green, sustainable and creative economy. The connection between economic development and marine environmental protection will be the key to opening up a prosperous future, bringing both economic benefits and protecting the precious natural resources that the ocean brings.
In the context of the strategy for developing Vietnam's seafood to 2030, with a vision to 2045 being promoted, STP Group's model is considered a bright spot for replication. At the Reservoir Aquaculture Economic Development Conference (October 2023, Hoa Binh), STP's HDPE cage model and high-tech process were highly appreciated.
Hoa Binh Province is also promoting cooperation and developing the aquaculture value chain associated with eco-tourism, education, and entertainment - a model that STP has pioneered. The connection between STP and localities is an important step to spread the green and sustainable development model.
